This course is designed to promote understanding of the various roles of the associate degree nurse related to family development. This semester the growth and development of individual members of the family is studied in relation to their basic needs. The student refines skills in using the nursing process to assess the needs and provide care for the maternity client, as well as the child, in health and illness. [R-1] Prerequisites: ENG 101-2, BIO 112, MLT 106 and grade of 75% (C) or higher in NUR 102 Corequisite: PSY 100, CHM 110
