The understanding of the concepts of growth and development provides a base for students to learn the skills, in this course, directed towards assessing and promoting health of children and their families. The concepts of the nursing process are expanded to enable the student to document the planned and implemented care that will meet the needs of clients and their families. Children's perceptions and behaviors in relation to health concepts will be included. Prerequisite:NUR 240 Co-requisite: NUR 260.
