This course is designed to give students the opportunity to observe health information departments and systems in non-hospital settings. Students are assigned on a rotating basis to a variety of health related sites, including health regulatory agencies, ambulatory care, long-term care and other nonhospital facilities for a total of 40 hours. Co-requisite: HIT 101, HIT 103.
