FLTE 102 - Instrument Flight

This course provides coverage about the principles of instrument flight, including more in-depth review of navigational and communications equipment, charts, approach plates and safety of flight. Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired suffi cient knowledge to pass the FAA Instrument exam and profi ciency to pass the FAA Practical Flight Test. (Students must meet with a representative of the Ocean Aire Pilot Center to review fl ight instruction policies and procedures, FAA requirements, and fl ight instruction fees prior to registration.) Flight instruction fees vary according to the number of fl ight hours necessary for students to master essential fl ight skills. Students pay fl ight instruction fees directly to the Ocean Aire Pilot Center. Prerequisite: FLTE 101
