This course offers students the opportunity to apply the academic knowledge gained from the classroom to a work environment. By completing internships, students will be involved in emerging workplace trends and enhance their employability. Internships will be directly related to career goals in the areas of health, fi tness, and sports medicine. Students are accepted for an internship according to the following criteria: a) The student must attain a minimum of 2.5 cumulative grade point average. b) The student must be accepted for internship by the department dean and internship supervisor. Prerequisite: HEHP 160 and HEHP 239
