3 cr. (formerly MM-H205) Prerequisite: DAT*H104. Multimedia Authoring II is an intermediate-level course in the application of advanced project development tools used in the creation of interactive multimedia for the edutainment, entertainment and Web industries. Students will learn and apply techniques used to create interactive multimedia for broadcast, electronic games, and WWW applications. Topics include; algorithm analysis, animation, Interaction Design and interactivity, introduction to Human-Computer Interaction, keyframing and tweening, objects and events, Lingo scripting, timeline-based authoring, and Shockwave.
