(formerly CSC-H2290) 3 cr. Prerequisite: CSC*H205, or any programming language equivalent. This course is designed for a more advanced programming student who wish to learn C++ with object-oriented techniques. The course will contain the basic concepts of an object-oriented programming language. Topics will include classes, constructor and destructor functions, function overloading, operator overloading, class inheritance, polymorphism, stream input/output, manipulator functions, templates and exception handling.
