This student-centered course is designed to introduce students to the basic principals of critical thinking such as; problem solving, critical thinking behaviors, arguments, inferential reasoning, and decision-making. This course utilizes a variety of instructional methods such as; group collaboration, lecture, video, computer and individual participation. Research techniques are an important component of this course. Students will be screened on the basis of placement testing. Students must meet the required competency level. This course does not apply to a degree.
