Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in MTB1321. This course is the continuation of MTB1321 (Technical Mathematics I). This course covers the topics in algebra and trigonometry that are essential for solving technological problems. Topics include: higher degree equations; exponential and logarithmic functions; trigonometric functions; vectors; oblique triangles; trigonometric equations; complex numbers and their applications; analytic geometry and the use of math application software for solving engineering technology problems. This course does not satisfy a general education mathematics requirement but may be used for elective credit. Contact: 3 hours.
