Prerequisite: COP 2220 with a grade of C or better, or permission of the instructor. Provide students with a firm foundation in modern programming methodologies of structured program and structured COBOL programming emphasis placed on sequential file programming. To promote critical thinking and analysis through the development of COBOL programs; introduce the theories of COBOL programming; provide hands on experience for the students using PC COBOL compiler and to provide the students with the foundation necessary to design COBOL programs.
