This course assists the learner in applying the principles of quantitative and qualitative research to patient care, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice. Learning activities include critiquing published research literature using critical appraisals Integration of knowledge will be demonstrated through a service learning project. This course is offered primarily online with campus sessions at the beginning, middle and end of the semester. Pre/corequisite: BIOL 302; Prerequisite: all NURS 300 level courses 3 credits (3 lecture hours) fall and spring
