This course is an introduction to intermediate skills in stock seat and hunt seat equitation. It provides a reinforcement of basic stock seat and hunt seat for the rider with basic skills, a review of lunging, long lining, and driving following USAE and AQHA guidelines, and a continuation of the basics of grooming, tack, bits, and safety. Prerequisite: Requires permission of instructor or prior placement into course. 3 credits (2 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours of riding), fall semester
