3 credits This course provides the student with an in-depth analysis of computer applications used in modern health care. The practice of modern medicine requires the use of sophisticated information technologies designed to manage patient information, plan diagnostic procedures, interpret laboratory results, conduct research, and disseminate information to healthcare stakeholders. Students will participate in hands-on activities designed to develop their skills in the area of application use, implementation and management.
