This course presents the role of the nurse and healthcare teams, the life cycle, legal concerns, and social, cultural, and ethnic diversity. Topics include pathways to nursing careers, homeostasis and human needs, and basic concepts of health, illness, and healing. Recommended for students interested in nursing who have not met the prerequisites for the degree program.
