This course studies transportation modes, including the interlocking relationships among transportation, economics, community development, the environment, energy usage and savings, aesthetics, zoning, land use, and the private/public sector partnership. Emphasis is placed on design criteria, material specifications and performance, drainage, pavement design, construction supervision, and maintenance practices for right-of-way operations.
