This course emphasizes critical reading, analytical and argumentative writing, the techniques of library research, clear and coherent organization and presentation of materials, mastery of grammatical essentials, and legitimate use of outside sources. A grade of "C" or better isrequired in this course, or it must be repeated continuously until a grade of "C"is earned. Open only to students in the Honors Program. Prerequisite: English 091 or exemption from EN 091. Credit, 3 hours.
