The purpose of this course is to describe the techniques and skills necessary for successfully teaching content in scienceat the elementary school level. Teacher candidates will be actively engaged in problem-solving, hands-on activities, inquiry-based design, experimentation, and other methods of teaching science. Attention will be given to the use of technology and best practices based on research. Prerequisites: ED 200, ED 355, pass Praxis I. Credit, 3 hours.
