Prerequisite: PHOT 1100 or PHOT 1105 This course introduces students to the basic skills of medical photography as used in hospitals and in private practice. Students will learn how to photograph patients, gross specimens, flat copy work, and medical equipment. They will also learn how to do public relations photography. Classes will meet for eight hours one day each week at a Cleveland area hospital. Students must provide their own off-campus transportation and their own camera with adjustable shutter speeds and apertures (f-stops). (8 contact hours: 2 lecture, 6 lab)
