Prerequisite: MDIA 1003 or permission of instructor This course is an introduction to the important components and issues of designing, reviewing, and producing multimedia, including markets, content, components, and phases of production. Students will gain familiarity with media's delivery vehicles such as the World Wide Web and Optical Master. The course places emphasis on the process of building multimedia products through lecture and lab exercises and provides insights into its aesthetic and historical framework. (5 contact hours: 2 lecture, 3 lab)
