Prerequisite: ITCS 1810, ITDB 1400 (can be taken concurrently) or ITDB 1430 (can be taken concurrently) or ITIS 1530 (can be taken concurrently); or permission of instructor This course provides advanced instruction in application development, user interface design, current standard Windows program development methodologies, and object-oriented programming using Visual Basic.NET. Students will use SQL (Structured Query Language) to update database files, custom controls to create specialized programs, Data Report Designer to create reports, and will create MDI (Multiple Document Interface) programs and Web pages. (5 contact hours: 1 lecture, 4 lab)
