Prerequisite: ITIS 1100 or permission of instructor Flash is a technology being used within Web-based applications as well as with PDA's, mobile phones, and game programming. This introductory course presents the basics of Flash programming, explores the elements of Flash user interface and the use of symbols, and introduces ActionScript, the scripting language used to communicate with Flash. Students will work with graphics, text, sound, video, animation, and movies. (3.25 contact hours: 0.75 lecture, 2.5 lab)
