Prerequisite: HLTH 1210 This course continues the study of medical terminology related to the various body systems. In addition, it reviews advanced information related to the medical profession, such as oncology and pharmacology. It places emphasis on terms relating to anatomy and physiology, disease conditions, operative techniques, diagnostic measures, and various methods of treatment. The course focuses on the female reproductive, male reproductive, blood, integumentary, endocrine, lymphatic, and immune systems as well as the eye and ear. (2 contact hours)
