Prerequisite: ELEC 1100 or permission of instructor This course introduces solid-state electronics. It includes diodes and their use in rectifier circuits, zener diodes, the characteristics and biasing of bipolar and field effect transistors, linear integrated circuits used as operational amplifiers, and inverting and non-inverting amplifier gain.
