Prerequisite: CIVT 2112 or permission of department chair This specialized course includes a study of field and office practice and procedures for route location and design, embankment construction and supervision, and flexible and rigid pavement system designs. Students will study Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) specifications for geometric criteria, drainage, contract items, standard drawings, and specifications. Students will use computer applications relating to curve data and earthwork quantities computations.(4 contact hours: 2 lecture, 2 lab)
