Students will live the Spanish language by immersing themselves in the language and culture of Madrid, Spain. Students will attend 30 hours per week of small group classes, be expected to demonstrate progress in oral and written comprehension of Spanish (as ascertained through pre- and post-testing), and will gain awareness of Spanish culture through living with a host family and participating in extracurricular activities. 6 credit hours. Prerequisite: ENG 1530; Must meet minimum college level reading score: Accuplacer 80+ or Asset 40+. J occasionally
