Level I fieldwork offers direct experience in the practice setting. Through observation and participation, students will begin to assimilate academic coursework, creating an opportunity for professional growth and development. This course allows students to observe clients in actual treatment environments, to interact with individuals involved in various programs, to share the appreciation of occupations with other professionals, and to experience direct contact with individuals involved in various service delivery systems. Observation and participation in a pediatric and/or mental health community setting will be the focus of this fieldwork experience. 1 credit hour. Corequisites: OTA 1620 and OTA 2610. J spring
