Students will improve their basic mathematical skills. Topics include integers, real numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and ratios and proportions. Applications are emphasized throughout to help students improve their ability to handle everyday mathematics. Students are introduced to variables and other elementary algebra topics throughout the course in preparation for MAT 0500. This course is taught as part of the APLUS program. 5 imputed credits.
