Designed by the student, the Capstone Project combines an understanding of African/ African American theory with interdisciplinary study in two disciplines of the student's choice. Often the project will take the form of a traditional research paper (20-30 pages), but works of fiction or drama, field studies, multi-media presentations, or other formats are acceptable, subject to the coordinators' approval.
