4 Credits Prerequisite: MTH 2151 and 2152 This course is an introduction to the mathematical theory of probability for students who possess the prerequisite knowledge of elementary calculus. Topics include combinatorial analysis, axioms of probability, conditional probability and independence, discrete and continuous random variables, distribution and density functions, expectation and variance of a random variable, joint distributions, independent random variables, and Limit Theorems.
