4 Credits (3,2) This course provides an in-depth examination of current environmental issues, possible ramifications of such issues, and the relationship of various fields of study (economics, politics, geology, biology, chemistry, ecology, etc.) to Environmental Science. Students will participate in research projects, class discussions and laboratory exercises. The laboratory portion of this course will involve quantitative and qualitative assessment of environmental data collection and environmental sampling techniques.
