7 Credit (0,3) This course teaches the necessary skills training for a person to qualify as a water safety lifeguard. It involves explanations, demonstrations, practice and review of the rescue skills essential for lifeguards. The course also includes instruction in First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Waterfront Module. Upon successful completion, the student will receive the following certificates: American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, Responding to Emergencies CPR and Waterfront Module.
