Also introduces field techniques used for sample collections necessary to meet today's state and federal standards. Emphasizes the specific methods of analyzing significant toxic substances and environmental pollutants. Three hours of lecture / three hours of laboratory. Prerequisite: One college-level biology laboratory course and one college-level chemistry or physics laboratory course or instructor's permission.
