Develops students' knowledge of and appreciation for children's literature. Students will explore children's stories and the components of good children's literature by investigating the interrelationship of literary content and form. By developing a personal bibliography, students will investigate the wealth of children's literature available today. This course also assists teachers to promote a comprehensive, creative, and insightful utilization of literary materials in their classes.
