3 cr. Corequisite: ATP*H100 or with permission of the Coordinator. Theory-related instruction of the automotive heating and air conditioning systems. Emphasis is placed on basic refrigerant cycles, heat transfer, trouble shooting, and diagnosis of both refrigerant and electronic control systems. Two-hour lecture and two and one-half hours laboratory weekly.
