(formerly BUS-H254) 3 cr. Consumer behavior is a continuation and amplification of basic marketing principles begun in BMK*H201. This course stresses the understanding and application of the behavioral sciences, social sciences, and economic concepts as they affect the consumer's buying decision process and the development of the total marketing mix. The major areas will be consumer decision models, market segmentation, market positioning, hypothesis testing, and decision methodologies for making decisions under uncertainty, and in the creation and implementation of a marketing plan.
