3 cr. Corequisite : AVS*H108. ALL FLIGHT TRAINING COSTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT. Students will receive approximately 30 hours of flight instruction covering topics that include transition to flying from the right seat, providing instruction on private and commercial pilot ground and flight operations and maneuvers, recovery from stalls/spins, and emergency procedures. Co-op instruction is designed to augment students' flight training and includes the use of a flight simulator as well as classroom discussion of selected topics. This course prepares students for the FAA Flight Instructor Practical Test (ASEL).
