(formerly ESL-H074) 3 cr. Prerequisite: Successful completion of ESL *H015 or specified score on ESL placement exam. In this low intermediate course, patterns and rules of grammar structures will be introduced, practiced, and applied in a meaningful context. Formal exercises, short writings, and communicative activities will be used to promote mastery of essential language structures. This course requires a minimum of six hours of outside work per week. (Fall, Spring)
