3 cr. (formerly MFG-H1120) A study of the application and use of measuring instruments and interpretation of gathered data. Through classroom instruction and exercises, students will study the use of micrometers, verniers, dial indicators, force gauges, air gauges, attribute measurement gauging, visual inspection, Environmental testing, tool and gauge control, and the use of electronic measuring equipment. Three class hours weekly.
