(formerly DFT-H1124) 3 cr. This course presents instruction in how to read and interpret engineering drawings. Material is presented in a sequential manner building on simple concepts and working toward more complex drawings. Some topics covered are: orthographic projection, working drawings, dimensioning, machining symbols, tolerances, sectional views, auxiliary views and assembly drawings. Participants will use a detailed workbook to reinforce course concepts. Three class hours weekly.
