3 cr. (formerly MFG-H2233) Prerequisites: MFG*H230, MAT*H172. A study of the application of intermediate statistical quality control methods. Included in the statistical techniques presented are continued study of probability including an introduction to Bayes' Theorem, statistical problem-solving through statistical tests of significance, correlation and regression methods, and an introduction to the analysis of variance. Three class hours weekly.
