1 cr. This is an opportunity for guitarists and bassists to experience reading and improvising in the context of a section, rather than the traditional rock or jazz band format. The goal is to raise sight reading levels while learning the art of ensemble playing. Special attention is paid to dynamics, phrasing, intonation, ensemble playing, and general musicianship. This course may be repeated for credit.
