(formerly PSY-H246) 3cr. Prerequisite: PSY*H111. This course discusses the theoretical and historical background of religious behavior from the psychological perspectives of James, Freud, Allport, Jung and others. Students learn about the psychological methods of research employed in the study of religious behavior and the implications of this research on religious behavior, practices, health and well being. Students gain a basic knowledge and appreciation other's religious beliefs and practices throughout the context of this course.
