(formerly RAD-H102) 3 cr. Prerequisite RAD*H112. The course content includes the production of xrays, the x-ray circuit, radiographic equipment, and the interaction of x-rays with matter. Once learned, the student will utilize the preceding content, applying it to how the x-ray produces the image. The subject material includes introductory principles of radiographic quality, setting technical factors, and performing technical conversions.
