2 credits 1 lecture hour/2 lab hours Concentrates on production and evaluation of conventional intraoral radiographs, radiation safety and biology. Conventional radiographic competency must be met in the production and evaluation of diagnostic full mouth series in the laboratory setting as well as on a client/patient. Prerequisite: Matriculation in the Dental Hygiene program. Co-requisites: Histology and Oral Anatomy for the Dental Hygienist, Fundamentals of Dental Hygiene Theory, AND Fundamentals of Dental Hygiene Clinic.
