This course begins with the influence of geography on early Native American cultures of the region.The economic, social, and political background of Florida is developed chronologically, from discovery settlements and colonization to United States acquisition and the Territorial Experience concluding with statehood.This course satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained. 45class hours. Prerequisite:Appropriate placement test scores or ENC0010 and REA0002 (completed with a grade of "C"or higher for each course)
