The purpose ofMusicTheory IV is to provide the final sequence of Music Theory with emphasis on continued development of harmonic materials, aural and visual analysis, and problems in composition involving form and instrumentation. 45 lecture hours and 30 laboratory hours. Prerequisite:MUT 2126. Note: Applied Music courses are designed for those students who plan to major in music and may NOT be transferable to a four-year college/university. Music students, both major and non-major, are urged to check with the college/university of their choice for transferability of these courses.
