This course is designed to give the students the experience of working on a production from the pre-production planning stage through to the final performance and strike (the dismantling of sets and clean-up after the production). Students will be involved in all aspects of production in both the performance and technical areas as well as in the areas of box office and house management. In addition to working on an actual production, students will be required to attend class lectures and turn in written assignments. Students may also be asked to attend productions of plays off campus. Lab fee required. 30 lecture hours and 30 laboratory hours. Corequisite: TPP 1111.
