In this course,we will come to understand "addiction?n terms of its defining patterns of behavior; and examine the effects of addiction on family dynamics, and society.The different classes of drugs will be discussed.Also, the scope of the problem of chemical dependence and possibilities for intervention and treatment will be examined.
