Prerequisite: PAZ 2332.This series will focus on basic zookeeper technology: including biology of animals in captivity, general maintenance of zoo and park facilities, as well as behavioral and reproductive management of representative zoo species. Students will work in the hoofstock departments (primates/carnivores for advanced students) throughout the fall semester.The focus this term is on learning protocols rapidly, early and late shift duties, and advanced zookeeping skills.
