Prerequisite: SON 1170.This course covers the sonographic appearance of the female reproductive system with and without pregnancy, recognition of abnormality sonographically, and optimizing imaging of the female pelvis. Gross anatomy and physiology of the female reproductive system and congenital malformations are included.Anatomy and physiology of normal obstetrics from fertilization through the post natal period is covered as well as obstetrical sonographic imaging.
